12-Day Small Group Tour to Shanghai - Beijing - Xian - Chengdu - Shanghai

Day1: Arrival in Shanghai

Upon your arrival at Shanghai, our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. We don't have any further arrangements for you today as you will finally return to Shanghai for a visit in this group tour before you leave China. The rest of the day is free for you.

Overnight: Crowne Plaza Century Park Shanghai (4-star) or Similar

Day2: Shanghai - Beijing(B)

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and take a high-speed train to Beijing in around 5.5 hours. Our guide in Beijing will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to the hotel. Relax during the rest of the day.

Hotel: The Great Wall Hotel Beijing (5 stars)- the former Sheraton

Day3 Beijing (B+L)

Full day tour to the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. Then a traditional Chinese Kung Fu Show in the evening. A la carte lunch with Peking duck.

Day4 Beijing(B)

Visit Mutianyu Great Wall. Round way cable car is included. Driver by the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) on the way back. Lunch is not included. At last, visit a local market. 

Day5 Beijing - Xian(B+L)

Visit the Summer Palace and the traditional Hutongs including Chinese Paper cutting. A la carte lunch is served. Then fly to Xian and our guide will help you check in the hotel.

Day6 Xian (B+L+D)

Visit the Terracotta Army Museum, A home visit with home-cooked lunch, Small Wild Goose Pagoda, dumpling dinner with the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (Tips: the show with dinner is available from Apr to Nov)

Day7 Xian(B+L)

Observe local life in the park, One-hour Tai Chi practice, Xi'an City Wall, A la carte lunch, Provincial History Museum, Great Mosque, Muslim Quarter.

Day8 Xian - Chengdu (B)

A morning high-speed train will take you from Xian to Chengdu in about 4 hours. Our guide will meet you at the railway station and help you check in at the hotel. Afternoon is free.

Hotel: Holiday Inn Chengdu Oriental Plaza (4 stars)

Day9 Chengdu (B)

Visit Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, the Broad and Narrow Alleys, Jinsha Site Museum and have leisure time at Renmin Park.

Day10 Chengdu - Shanghai (B)

You will take a flight to Shanghai. Expect to be met and taken to the hotel for check-in. The rest time of the day is free for you.

Hotel: Crowne Plaza Century Park Shanghai (5 stars) or Similar

Day11 Shanghai(B+L)

Visit Shanghai Museum, Yuy Garden and its traditional bazaar, the former French Concession, the Bund area and Huangpu River Cruise. An a la carte farewell lunch is included. Bon voyage at the hotel lobby from your guide.

Day12 Leave Shanghai (B)

Airport drop-off is not included. Please make your way to the airport.
