As the only ancient town forming part of greater Shanghai, with a history spanning over one thousand years, Qibao is more than just a living fossil of ancient Chinese conurbation and urban planning. Qibao Town carries visitors back through the centuries by virtue of its history, culture, architecture and local people. The name originates from the Qibao Temple. A great variety of snacks in Qibao Ancient Town will attract your eye when you are walking the streets of the old town. We will taste Shanghai's traditional snacks and experience the local lifestyle.

Stop At: Shanghai Zoo (Shanghai Dongwu Yuan), No.2831 Hongqiao Road, Changning District, Shanghai 200000 China

Shanghai Zoo is a large-scale state-level zoo. There are not only animals from China, such as giant pandas, golden monkeys, South China tigers, Manchurian tigers, Yangtze alligators, elks, but also animals from all over the world, such as giraffe, kangaroo, penguin, hippopotamus, sea lion and the like.
You will visit the giant pandas in the Carnivore zone. The giant panda area is fan-shaped, where an indoor exhibition area and an outside playground can be seen. You can watch the panda's every movement. The playground is covered with trees, lawns, artificial mountains, pools so that the giant pandas can enjoy themselves.

The Former French Concession Shanghai, totally different from what you have imagined about this modern, crowded and busy metropolis with skyscraper jungles, is quiet and idle with lots of European style villas and buildings from the early 20th century. It is a great place to learn the history and unique beauty of the city and to escape from the bustling city for a while. As time passed by, there is no exact boundary for this area.

Xintiandi is a tourist attraction that preserves the historical and cultural features of Shanghai and integrates Chinese and western culture. Xintiandi is divided into northern and southern parts. The south is dominated by modern architecture. The north is dominated by Shikumen old buildings. Composed of Shikumen and modern architectural style, now it has become a hot and fashionable pedestrian street in the center of the city. Actually, it stands for the popular and leisurely life style of this city's new generation. The outdoor cafés, bars and romantic restaurants can be seen everywhere.

Stop At: Oriental Pearl Tower (Dongfang Mingzhu), No. 1 Century Avenue, Pudong New Area, Shanghai 200120 China

Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower is located in Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Shanghai. This 468 meters (1,536 feet) high tower is the world's sixth and China's second tallest TV and radio tower. However, even more alluring than its height is the unique architectural design that makes Oriental Pearl Tower one of the most attractive places anywhere. You will visit the Municipal History Museum which is located in the tower's pedestal. You can travel up and down the Oriental Pearl Tower in double-decker elevators that can hold up to fifty people at the rate of seven meters per second. The elevator attendants recite an introduction to the TV Tower in English and Chinese during the rapid 1/4-mile ascent. The view of the city from this height fills you with wonder at the beauty that surrounds you.

Stop At: Huangpu River, Headstreams from Dianshan Lake, Zhujiajiao Town, Qingpu District, Shanghai 201700 China

The Huangpu River divides two iconic but different Shanghai sights: high modern buildings in the Pudong area, and 26 various buildings of different architectural styles on the west side. At nightfall, you will take a one-hour cruise along the Huangpu River to enjoy the light show and beautiful night scenery on both sides of the river including the Bund, the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Jin Mao Tower.
