Visit Taikang Wet Market where the locals shop for their groceries. You’ll notice that the markets in Shanghai have a lot of ingredients which aren’t used outside of China, and your guide will help you explain what everything is.

Tianzifang, which used to be industrial area, is now a fashion landmark with many lanes. You can walk through the old alleys to see what the folk houses looked like in early 20th century Shanghai with dormer windows, red tiles, green moss on the walls, and so on. Moreover, losts of restaurants and fashion boutiques can be found here, making it a nice place to enjoy delicious food and shopping.

Walk across Jianguo Road to Fuxing Park. Fuxing Park is located on Yandang Road in Shanghai and covers 92,000 square meters. Shanghai People's Square is a flourishing place for people to look around.
There are many scenic spots around people's square, such as the new Municipal Government Mansion, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Grand Theater and the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. Along the south side of the People's Avenue, there are several large underground structures, including Hong Kong Famous Brands Street and Dimei Shopping Center, the largest underground city transformer substation of Asia and the largest underground parking garage of Shanghai.

Nanjing Road is considered to be the 'No. 1 commercial street in China', which has been a landmark for this city for a long time. Along its 5.5 kilometers, you will find over 600 shops that on average are visited by some 1.7 million people each day. Here, you could purchase everything wanted, spanning from special and cheap souvenirs to the luxurious world famous brands. Soak in the bustle of this pedestrianized street, a microcosm of modern China, take a stroll to peruse the stores and purchase souvenirs.

Visit a paper-thin building. The building was once reported by British Daily Mail, stated as perhaps the world's flattest and thinnest building. Standing in the front of the building at 30°it just looks like a piece of paper. The old house had four floors and still has a large number of residents.

We will see the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles at the Bund.

We will take a traditional ferry and enjoy beautiful scenery on both sides of the river including the Bund, the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Jin Mao Tower.
