Excellent private day trip to Suzhou from Shanghai with Rita!! Rita was absolutely the best!! So professional, KIND, and we had so much fun on our trip, she made us feel like Family!! We learned so much, made such amazing memories, and Rita took great care of us!! Rita also allowed us time to take pictures, and ordered us a magnificent lunch, we all shared together! She is an expert through and through, but more-so, she made this trip beyond memorable. Highly recommend this tour and Rita as tour guide!! You won't be disappointed! -- Love Lisa Johnson (Mom) and Jordan Johnson (Daughter)

We couldn't believe how beautiful Suzhou was. There were 4 of us in a private van with a fantastic guide which was great because we didn't have to take the Train. Suzhou is The Venice of China....Beautiful!!

Our group of 4 booked this tour on fairly short notice... only about 36 hours in advance. Our tour guide Sunny was able to contact us the same night and confirm our pickup location and time for the next day. They were able to pick us up promptly when we requested, & directly from our Airbnb which was a few miles west from the city center... one less thing to worry about for an early morning! From there we headed out for ~1 hour ride in their roomy vehicle to Suzhou. Sunny was able to answer any questions we had about the city, culture, & surroundings as we passed through the various districts on our way to the first stop of the Humble Administrator's Garden in Suzhou. The garden itself was beautiful, taking a few hours to peruse the entirety of the grounds... from start to finish Sunny was able to impart fun facts & aspects about the gardens that only a true seasoned professional would know, well beyond what touring the grounds alone could offer. From there we stopped off for lunch; Sunny asked us what we were hungry for and offered suggestions to experience true local Suzhou cuisine with all of her favorite dishes... our favorite was squirrelfish right from the Suzhou river, yum!! After our lunch Sunny gave us the option to tour a local silk factory or the famous pagoda; we chose the silk factory and had a great time learning how the silk is processed & made into all the products they offer in the gift shop afterwards. Finally, we opted to walk the canals of Suzhou with Sunny giving us, again, great recommendations on what to eat, local favorites, sharing her food with us, and acting the part of translator when we needed it. We walked the canals for as long as Sunny let us, never holding us to a strict time when the 'official tour time' would be over and letting us take our time wherever we went. In the end, once we reached the end of the canals, she had her driver pick us up for the ride home. Sunny & her driver were able to accommodate our schedules the entire trip - from wanting to stop for coffee / bathroom right when we arrived, to being patient as we took pictures at our own pace throughout the tour (we had 3 photographers on the trip, so everyone took a long time to get their 'perfect shots'). Sunny's great personality, sense of humor, and vast knowledge about the gardens, silk factory, & canals were truly impressive, and I would recommend taking any tour she is a part of. Truly a great experience for my friends & I during our stay in Shanghai!!

Our tour guide, Sunny, certainly lives up to her name! She was a fantastic guide, with a great personality, and had SO much information to share. Sunny definitely knows the ins and out of the city of Suzhou, and helped us get around from one place to the other with ease, and no time-pressure at all. She even helped us to get back and forth from our hotel, since we were staying over one night after the tour. She answered all of our many questions, helped the boys while shopping in a well-known and popular athletic brand store that we passed in our travels, and took us to a nice place for a wonderful lunch. Beautiful gardens and lovely historic architecture to see everywhere! Despite the intense heat that day, she was cool and co-ordinated. We will definitely book another tour with her to another city soon!

A fabulous all day tour of Suzhou! My family and I were met at our hotel in Shanghai's Bund District by a spry and super upbeat tour guide named Lily. She and a wonderful driver whisked us away in a very clean and comfortable passenger van. Upon arrival into Suzhou, we began with a tour of sprawling and enchanting garden. Lily was half full of information and her delivery was more old friend than jaded tour guide. We then had lunch in a bustling food district that was as interesting as any part of the tour. The food choices were immense and we let Lily choose an authentic table service restaurant for my family. The conversation was pleasant and educational. The tour continued at a pace we were able to dictate and Lily remained informative and always warm hearted. I would highly recommend this tour.

This tour is a must! The tour guide, Sunny, was not only very knowledgeable, but also very friendly and engaging. Without a doubt Sunny made the day a memorable occasion. Her English is excellent. The day includes a number of separate sightseeing activities, but is done at a relaxed pace that enables the tourist to get good knowledge of what they are visiting.
