About this activity
Pick up from your hotel or Cruise Port to discover the “can’t miss” highlights of Shanghai by professional driver tour guide and a private vehicle. Begin with a visit to the Bund, Shanghai’s picturesque waterfront, well known as the International Architecture Exhibition for its spectacular soaring skyline. From here, enjoy sweeping views of both sides of the Huangpu River.
Continue to visit the intricately designed Yu Yuan Garden and the ancient Shanghai Old Street. Afterwards, take a break in a local Chinese tea house where you can see the Chinese tea ceremony and try local loose tea.
Followed you drive guide and step into the former French Concession area, a charming neighborhood established while Shanghai was under a French settlement.
Your last stop is the Pudong Business and Financial District where you can see all the main skyscrapers of the city, such as Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center and Jinmao Tower right next to Riverside Promenade (Bingjiang Da Dao).
After your tour is finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel/cruise port or appointed spot in downtown.

Tom did a great job of showing us the highlights of Shanghai as well as a tea ceremony. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions about the people and their culture. We would recommend him highly.
Tom Zhang picked us up in a very nice van at the Cruise Terminal. He was waiting for us with a sign. We loaded our luggage in the van and went to the Yu Garden in Shanghai. Tom explained the History of the Yu Garden. Next we saw the Bund. Walked around the French Concession and felt like we were in Europe with the sidewalk cafes and nice shops. Saw the new area of Pudong. The most impressive building was the Pearl TV Tower with three balls that look like pearls. Tom explained that the whole area of Pudong is new. That was our best tour in Shanghai! Tom was so incredible, delicate, knowledgeable and very helpful. The Yu Gardens were one of a kind and impressed us very much. The French concession and the Bund became one of our favorite places in Shanghai because if the unique mixture of cultures and the tea ceremony was delicious we have never tasted that amazing tea flavors before. The tour is definitely a must and is incredibly good. Our recommendations is to pick it in the beginning of your Shanghai visit! A must with the best Shanghai guide Tom!
