Stop At: Tianzifang, 210弄 Taikang Rd, Da Pu Qiao, Huangpu Qu, China

At 8:30 am, meet your guide at the lobby of your hotel in Shanghai city centre.

We transfer to Tianzifang by bus and visit Taikang Wet Market where the locals shop for their groceries. You’ll notice that the markets in Shanghai have a lot of ingredients which aren’t used outside of China, and your guide will help you explain what everything is.

Then, we walk across Jianguo Road to Fuxing Park. Fuxing Park, also called Gujiazhai Park, is located on Yandang Road in Shanghai and covers 92,000 square meters. It is a unique park in Shanghai that maintains the French classic style, which is characterized by plaids and patterns. Now stays popular both for senior's exercises in the morning. We will experience the colorful life of retirees. Join Shanghai residents in Tai Chi, Choral singing and Square dancing. After that, stroll through the French Concession and explore old house.

Hear of the radical cultural transformation that occurred at the site of the First Conference of the Communist Party and absorb the botanical beauty of a French-style park during your stroll. Admire the intricate facades of villas and apartments built in the early 20th century and discover the famous figures that have resided within. Take to the back streets in order to catch a rare glimpse of local Shanghai life and then enjoy some leisurely free time in Tianzifang. Browse the bespoke boutiques, handicraft stores and charismatic restaurants of the enclave.

We transfer to Caoyang New Village by bus, Caoyang New Village is a local renowned community in Shanghai, which welcomes foreign friends to experience local Shanghainese's life. In their community center, you can see local people's cultural life like write calligraphy, Chinese playing ping pong, local handicraft etc. It is like a window for foreigner to have a further understanding about Shanghaier's daily life. We will visit a local resident home and talk with them with the help of a guide to know about people's life. The master will teach us how to cook Chinese Food and make Shanghai Wontons, then enjoy eating your creations and visit Caoyang New Village.

Nanjing Road is considered to be the 'No. 1 commercial street in China', which has been a landmark for this city for a long time. Along its 5.5 kilometers, you will find over 600 shops that on average are visited by some 1.7 million people each day. Here, you could purchase everything wanted, spanning from special and cheap souvenirs to the luxurious world famous brands. Soak in the bustle of this pedestrianized street, a microcosm of modern China, and take a stroll to peruse the stores and purchase souvenirs.

Stop At: People's Square (Renmin Guang Chang), People's Square, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200000 China

Shanghai People's Square is located at the very center of Shanghai and is the demarcation point of East Nanjing Road and West Nanjing Road. It is a flourishing place for people to look around.

There are many scenic spots around people's square, such as the new Municipal Government Mansion, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Grand Theater and the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. Along the south side of the People's Avenue, there are several large underground structures, including Hong Kong Famous Brands Street and Dimei Shopping Center, the largest underground city transformer substation of Asia and the largest underground parking garage of Shanghai.

Stop At: Ningbo Road, Ningbo Rd, Huangpu Qu, Shanghai Shi, China

The building was once reported by British Daily Mail, stated as perhaps the world's flattest and thinnest building. Standing in the front of the the building at 30°it just looks like a piece of paper. The old house had four floors, not all that thin; it takes the shape of triangular polygon. This novel and strange building still has a large number of residents.

Stop At: The Bund (Wai Tan), Zhongshan East 1st Road, Shanghai China

The Bund is the famous waterfront on the west bank of the Huangpu River and is regarded as the symbol of Shanghai. Here, the charm of Shanghai as a bustling metropolis combining the century-old history and flourishing future is fully presented, making the Bund Shanghai a must-see attraction. We will see the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles at the Bund, such as Peace Hotel, Shanghai Customs House and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.

Stop At: Huangpu River, Headstreams from Dianshan Lake, Zhujiajiao Town, Qingpu District, Shanghai 201700 China

The Huangpu River divides two iconic but different Shanghai sights: high modern buildings in the Pudong area, and 26 various buildings of different architectural styles on the west side. We will take a traditional ferry and enjoy beautiful scenery on both sides of the river including the Bund, the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Jin Mao Tower.
