Day 1: Shanghai to Jiayuguan by Flight

Pass By: Wei-Jin Tombs, Xincheng Town, Jiayuguan 735106 China
You will be picked up by our representative from your centrally located Shanghai hotel, then transferred to the airport to catch a flight to Jiayuguan. Upon arrival, your guide will pick you up and transferred to visit the Wei and Jin Tombs if time permits.

Day 2: Jiayuguan to Dunhuang by Car

Stop At: Jiayuguan Fortress, Within Yuquan Town, Yuquan Town, Jiayuguan 735100 China
Visit the western end of the Ming Great Wall, Jiyuguan Fortress in the morning, and drive 5 hours to Dunhuang throug the Hexi Corridor and enjoy the imposing scenery of Qilian Mountians and Gobi Desert in the afternoon.

Explore the well-known Dunhuang night market tonight.

Day 3: Dunhuang

Stop At: Mogao Caves, West of Hexi Zoulang, Dunhuang 736200 China
Today you will visit the well-known Mogao Caves on the ancient Silk Road. Those caves are well-preserved with colorful frescoes and paintings created thousand years ago, but looks like they were finished just yesterday.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Mingsha Shan - Echoing-Sand Mountain, Three miles from Dunhuang, Dunhuang 831900 China
Afterwards you willl explore the Singging Sand Dunes and Crescent Moon Spring, where you have opportunity to ride camel.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Dunhuang Theater, Yangguan Zhonglu Near the Piper Statue, south side of road, Dunhuang China
Enjoy the Dunhuang performance in the evening.

Day 4: Dunhuang to Shanghai by Flight

Stop At: Dunhuang Museum, No.1390 North MingShaShan Road, Dunhuang China
If time permits, you will visit Dunhuang Museum(close on Monday), and then fly to back to Shanghai. Upon arrival. you will be transferred back to your Shanghai hotel where the tour concludes.
