Aurora Museum is designed by Mr. Tadao Ando, a world-renowned architect. In the Huangpu night scenery, the museum is like a deep, quiet and reserved blue jewelry box. The museum houses a special collection of historic Chinese Jade, porcelain and sculptures. Also called the China Art Palace, this museum is housed in the former China Pavilion of Expo 2010. It is one of the largest art museums in Asia and has a collection of about 14,000 artworks, mainly of Chinese modern art.
