Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Yu Garden (Yuyuan), No.218 Anren Street, Huangpu District near Fuyou Road, Shanghai 200010 China

After morning pickup from your Shanghai hotel, start this walking tour visiting the delightful Yuyuan Gardens. Explore one of China’s finest imperial gardens, known for its attention to minute detail and classic landscape architecture.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Yuyuan Bazar, No.269 Fangbang Middle Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200010 China

Then browse for various crafted goods at the bazaar of Old Shanghai. Here, your guide offers insight on Chinese traditions while you have the opportunity to chat and bargain with local merchants in this coastal city.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Zhujiajiao Chenghuangmiao Temple, No.69 Caohe Street, Zhujiajiao Town, Qingpu District, Shanghai 201713 China

To balance the bustle of the modern city, you will seek solace in the Chenghuangmiao (Temple of the town God), the central shrine for Taoist worship in China. Dating back to 1403, the temple's main courtyard is still active with worshippers.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Xintiandi, Lane 181, Taicang Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200021 China

Next, take a unique approach to the Xintiandi district, which retains the antique charms of Old Shanghai while gentrified to international levels of chic with an impressive number of galleries, bars, cafes, boutiques and restaurants. Reminiscent of the decadent Shanghai of the 1920s, this area reflects the present-day lifestyle of its resident urbanites.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Former French Concession, Puxi Central, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200000 China

Then, switch gears with a visit to the historical French Concession. Founded in 1862 in southwest Shanghai as a result of the Treaty of Nanking, the Concession is a pleasant mix of wide tree-lined streets and European-styled architecture. Discover a gateway to the past as you follow your guide on a walk past the old shikumen-style townhouses, noted for their courtyard residences.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, No.100 Renmin Main Street, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200003 China

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: The Bund (Wai Tan), Zhongshan East 1st Road, Shanghai China

Finally, stroll along The Bund for an awe-inspiring view of China's commercial prosperity and then sample culinary delights with some delectable street food (own expense). Enjoy a touch of style as you soak up Shanghai’s up-and-coming wine and bar scene from one of the city’s best vantage points (cocktail at own expense), completing your tour in the city center.
