Shanghai Night River Cruise Tour with Xinjiang Style Dining Experience

Your tour guide and private driver will meet you at your hotel lobby in the evening, and take you directly to the Oriental Pearl Cruise Terminal where you will enjoy a relaxing river cruise ride on the mother river of Shanghai - Huangpu River. Standing on the top deck of the cruise, and have a glimpse of Shanghai’s past and look into the bright future of the city. Your cruise offers a great view of the grand colonial buildings along west side of the Bund, such as the famous Peace hotel, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and etc.. Turn towards east side, you will see the skyscrapers of shanghai, like Oriental Pearl TV Tower, World Financial Center, and Shanghai Tower (the tallest building in China).
After your lovely cruise ride, follow your tour guide to a local popular Xinjiang restaurant to enjoy a halal dinner on Nanjing Road. Xinjiang cuisine is famous in China, and you must try Dapanji (big plate chicken), lamb kebabs, Xinjiang yogurt, and naan(a kind of Xinjiang pancake). Dapanji is the most famous dish, and it's nicely flavored in spices as well as the chopped potato and green paper. It is usually served with hand stretched noodles. The kebabs are tasty. If you don't like lamb, you can choose chicken wings or other skewers. The yogurt here is quite unique, and it's surely a good match when you have spicy food.
The restaurant offers evening entertainment from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, and there is cultural dancing and belly dancing you can watch. If you are lucky, the dancers will ask you to dance together with them.
After your dinner, your guide will send you back to your hotel. If you wish to be dropped-off in other places in the city, such as Xintiandi, your guide will take you there.

This tour was a definite highlight from our overall trip. We had a wonderful time with our guide, May, who was funny, informative, and very helpful. In addition to being a great guide, she even helped us prepare to navigate the metro system for our next day's adventure. The dinner experience was great, and the tour even accommodated the fact that we had already tried Xinjiang-style food on a tour the previous night (they selected a new restaurant for us). The Xinjiang food, which we had the night before, is excellent, and I would highly recommend it. The replacement was also excellent, and featured Shanghai-style dumplings (among other dishes) which were delicious. The river cruise was a beautiful experience, definitely the best way to see the lights on the river at night (the Bund walkway gets very crowded and can make it difficult to get good photos). In addition to having private seating on the cruise, we had drinks and snacks while we enjoyed our romantic trip around the river.
M family and I really enjoyed this experience. Xin, our guide for the evening, was on time and very knowledgeable about the history of Shanghai. We could not ask for a better one. It was great having her with us to avoid crowds and lines at the pier and also picked out some very good dishes for us a dinner. The view on the cruise was spectacular. Xin, the ride, and the views exceeded out expectations.
Our tour guide Snow was amazing! She was very informative, helpful, and friendly! The food was really good at the restaurant, the cruise was fun, and the city views were beautiful and amazing. We will highly recommend this tour.

Everything was on time.The cruise exceeded my expectations - it was very comfortable and the lights were very beautiful. Queena was great company and made sure everything ran smoothly. It was an amazing tour, we are completely in awe with the beauty of the city, we must have taken hundreds of photos on the boat. The dinner was beyond delicious!!! Those dumplings were so flavourful and the dishes were incredible. Our guide Caroline was amazing!!! We truly loved her, she's very knowledgeable, told us so much from the city, the highlights, the history, the customs, she is very helpful and her good mood is contagious. She honestly went above and beyond for us. Thank you so so much for this lovely evening.
Evening Cruise - this is a good program where we can appreciate the true beautiful sunset against The Bund and the amazing night lit skyline of the PuTong business district. XinJiang Cuisine - we were initially apprehensive about trying this restaurant but we were all delightfully surprised by how delicious the dishes were. It was an extremely marvelous dinner and was a refreshing experience having eaten many Shanghainese meals for the last few days. Tour Guide Queena - this young lady is bubbly, cheerful and positively pro-active. We were pleased to have her accompanied us for this evening. Her spoken English is good and she is also focused on making sure that we were all enjoying ourselves during this short evening tour.
The tour was absolutely fantastic! The driver Fan arrived on time with a immaculate, comfortable car. The night cruise of the Huangpu river was breathtaking! The lights on the buildings are almost surreal. This was definitely the highlight of my stay in Shanghai. Queena truly made it a special evening. The local Shanghai restaurant had many choices everything we ordered was delicious.

This tour experience has been amazing. We got a chance to try a new food type in Shanghai. Yershari restaurant was delicious and had a great atmosphere. The VIP experience on the boat is well worth it. Especially on a cold evening. It allows for you to stay warm and cozy and still get great photos!

Snow is amazing, the service was above and beyond. She worked extremely hard to make sure we had a fantastic night. The boat cruise and then football was nice but Snow made it exceptional with the way she looked after our customers. Great night out!
Today's trip was great and relaxing despite the cold weather. Berlin was a great guide and very informative as well as courteous. Food was cool! So it deserves a 5-star.
Snow was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the areas downtown on the cruise. I was so impressed by her! The view was fantastic and Snow was very attentive to us. After the cruise, we went to dinner, and it was so tasty. I have a shellfish allergy and Snow was so very thoughtful about ensuring I didn’t eat anything I was allergic to. I will certainly recommend her to my friends that may be visiting Shanghai in the future!
Our guide Snow was lovely girl with excellent communication skills. She guide us through the evening cruise tour and give us all the information. The view of the old shanghai and new shanghai was so pretty. We enjoyed in the vip room. To finish the tour we were taken to a good Shanghai local restaurant for the lovely Chinese meal. The food was so good. We will highly recommend this tour.
