Water Town of Fengjing and Private Bounded Feet Museum

Meet you professional guide at your hotel around 9:00 and after about 1 hour driving, you will start your Fengjing discovery tour. The water village has a hisotory over 700 years ,and dotted with many Ming and Qing dynasty architectures . You can walk along the old corridor and stroll aroud the old lane, visit some cultural museums and galleries and learn how the time changes while the culture still remains. A boat ride will also be arranged to relex yourself.

Lunch will be arranged in a local restaurant and try some local delicacies like Fengjing Pork , special kind of Toufu or some other delicious food.

In the afternoon, we will drive back to Shanghai city and visit a very famous private museum with over 1500 pairs of bounded feet shoes.

This museum boasts the most famous and biggest museum with rich collection of shoes in different varieties. This old collector spent over 40 years with almost all his savings trying to find the old shoes, and he will also give you a detailed explanation about this part of the history and different stories behind the shoes.
