The story of reform and opening-up in Shenzhen
Shenzhen was built in 1979 and become the FIRST economic special zone on 1980s. so , you can calculate that Shenzhen only has 40 years history. Before the reform and opening up , Shenzhen is just a fish village.
Shenzhen as” a test field” and “window ” at the beginning of china reform and opening up developed rapidly , now it becomes the “New and modern ”city . We regard it as the “China miracle” and “Shenzhen speed”. What’s the Shenzhen speed ? let me share one example with you . When we built the “Shenzhen International trade building”in Luohu district on 1985 , “3 days built 1 floor ” until it totally finished to the top of the building, later on we use this speed symbolize the “Shenzhen speed”for its fast development.(53 floors , 160 meters , There is a rotated restaurant on 49th of the building).
After finshed this building , many china and oversea pollical official visited , such as our president Deng xiao ping,jiang ze ming , premier Lipeng etc . Mr. Bush , nixon尼克松,Li guang yao and so on .
