Day 01: Delhi to Amritsar by Flight
Get ready for your pickup at 8 am from hotel,Airport,Train Station in Delhi followed by transfer to Airport. Board flight to Amritsar city and meet our representative available at Amritsar airport. Check-in and have some laid-back time at your hotel. Get ready in the evening for attending Palki Ceremony at Golden temple. You would be accompanied by the tour guide who would explain about the significance of this ceremony. Return to the hotel
Day 02: Amritsar Sightseeing (B)
Have breakfast and then get ready for sightseeing of the city. Visit the famous Golden Temple also called Harmandir Sahib, pilgrimage site of Sikhs. Then move to next attraction Jallianwala Bagh, a memorial associated with Indian history. In the afternoon, you will be taken to Wagah-Attari border to attend Beating Retreat ceremony. You can enjoy a clear view of the show from VIP gallery (permissible for foreign nationals only). Sign off the day with overnight stay at booked hotel.
Day 03: Amritsar – Chandigarh by road (B)
Relish the breakfast and then set off to Chandigarh in comfort of air-conditioned car. Check in at the hotel. Take rest and then get ready to visit famous ‘Rock Garden’ built by Nek Chand. It is made of industrial and home waste like broken ceramics, bottles, glasses, bangles, tiles, etc. Later back at the hotel in Chandigarh .
Day 04: Chandigarh – Kalka by road - Shimla by Toy Train (B)
Have breakfast and then hop in the comfortable car to leave for Kalka Railway Station. The train ‘Himalayan Queen’ departs from Kalka at 12:10 hours and reaches Shimla at 17:30 hours. The route view is gripping with sights of verdant mountains, numerous tunnels and landscape views. On reaching Shimla, meet our representative to transfer you safely to the booked hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Shimla & Kufri sightseeing (B)
Feast your taste buds with delicious breakfast and then get ready for sightseeing of picturesque hill station - Kufri, a tourist attraction located 16 km away from Shimla. It is hotspot of trekking, hiking and treading on hidden trails exploring thick forests.
Later, you will be driven back to Shimla to visit Mall Road. Evening is the best time to explore Mall Road, stroll in the chilly weather and browse numerous shops gleaming in the dark. Afterwards, you will be dropped back at the hotel and enjoy overnight stay.
Day 06: Shimla – Chandigarh by road - Delhi by Flight (B)
Get ready for traveling back to Chandigarh city in the morning. Board the scheduled flight to Delhi from Chandigarh airport. Your Amritsar and Shimla from Delhi tour package will hereby terminate. from Delhi proceed to your onward journey.
