About this activity

Our driver will pick you up at 11:30am from your hotel by a local air-conditioned minivan and bring you to a local pier where you will board an authentic Thai long tail boat.
There is a restaurant on the island, so you can get some snacks or drinks (at your own expense). Children can swim in the cordoned off sea or play on the beach with complimentary buckets and spades. Swimming jackets is available if you need one and is free of charge. Some family activities are (extra charge): petanque, snorkelling, canoeing, cycling or playing badminton.
Our tour guide also offer walking tours around the Island, so you can enjoy the natural beauty of this paradise and take some great photos of natural beauty. You may even want to visit the Pearl shop, where pearls grown locally are on sale.
The amenities on the island include showers, changing rooms and a modern bathrooms.
Around 4:30pm, you will be escorted to the Thai long tail boat and safely back to Phuket where the minivan will take you to your hotel.
Your safety is always our priority and we offer free life jackets for all ages. We also have a personal guide who speaks English and can help anyone if they needed. Everyone is fully insured on this trip. We limit the people who can go on this tour as we believe that everyone should enjoy the beach and comforts. We will not over sell this tour and we believe your enjoyment is more important.

Out of the 4 viator trips we booked for our Phuket holiday this is the only one that truly disappointed. I want to start by saying our guide Lisa was absolutely lovely. It took a few calls from our hotel to arrange pickup from our hotel. We were told 11:30am but it was nearer to midday which ate into our experience. By the time we got to the island, it was 1pm and the boat leaves at 4pm so door to door, the tour was a lot less than the 6 hours mentioned in the description. Also the tour description of 'lunch on floating restaurant' is not accurate. We did have a lovely meal on the island although we were disappointed as we were looking forward to going to a floating restaurant which I had experienced on my last visit and couldn't help be disappointed. All in all this was not value for money and not what we paid for. Albeit the island was lovely to spend time on, we would have appreciated experiencing what was actually described on the vaitor site.
