Explore the Krka National Park and the city of Split on this wonderful day tour! Your guide will meet you at 08:30 am at the bus stop of the city bus number 9 next to the ferry port and your journey will start by driving towards Krka National Park.
After you arrive at the park, you'll see many of the park’s highlights such as the Ria (mouth) of the River Krka. This is considered an exceptional phenomenon, due to its lack of pollution and biological vitality. You'll be stunned by its crystal blue waters. The park is also among the ornithologically most valuable regions of Europe, with over 200 bird species that live in the area. Skradinski Buk, Roski Slap, and the island of Visovac, which is a monastery dating back to the 15th century, are just some of the breathtaking sites you will see during your visit to the park.
You'll then return to Split for a walking tour of the city, one of the oldest cities in the region known for its exceptional historical heritage dating back to the 4th century BC! Explore the Diocletian's Palace, an ancient palace built by the Roman emperor at the turn of the fourth century AD, that today forms about half the old town and city center. You will also see Prokurative, Bell Tower of St. Duje, and much more! The tour will end in Split city center.
