Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: 22000, Šibenik, Croatia

Here you will get a chance to experience idyllic Šibenik, the city of stone. Šibenik’s narrow winding streets, stone houses and stone stairways will make you feel as though you have stepped back in time.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: The Cathedral of St James in Sibenik, Trg Republike Hrvatske Sea Promenade, Sibenik 22000 Croatia

You will have a 15-minute presentation of UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St James with a licensed guide. Interestingly, the cathedral of St James is unique to European architecture in that it is made entirely from stone.

Following your guided tour, you will have 45 minutes free time to do some exploring of your own. We recommend a visit to St Michaels fortress which is perched above the old town – or grab an ice-cream.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Krka National Park, Skradin, 22000 Croatia

Following this, you have a guided tour of the park and free time to take the rare opportunity to swim under the pristine Skradinski Buk waterfalls. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity you won’t want to miss. Here you can also explore the travertine formations in the Skradinski Buk pools and lap up the crystal clear Krka river waters and the Dalmatian sun.

Duration: 4 hours

We had an amazing time on this tour to Sibenik, Krka and wine tasting with Pelican Tours. Our tour guide, Tonko, was great! He was very informative and also very funny! He offered the perfect balance of information and giving us time to go off on our own to explore. This tour is such a great value for the cost as you see so much and still have plenty of time at Krka National Park. The wine and cheese tasting afterwards was a perfect way to end an amazing day!

Our tour in two small vans was the perfect size and our guide had the day timed perfectly down to every bathroom break. He shared all the best tips on how to enjoy the day to its fullest. 11 hours sounded long at first but was the perfect amount of time at each stop. A great mix of guided tour and free time to explore. I highly recommend, and the wine was poured liberally at the tasting to end the day right!

The tour was not what we expected. We paid 150 kuna per person to enter the Krka national park where we were left alone for 3 hours and some general information. This is not a really guided tour. The rest of the program with Sibenik old town and the wine tasting was good.

Booked this day trip with 2 friends and we had a great time! Henry, our guide, was very knowledgeable and funny and he answered every question. The day trip itself is very well planned and we were given more than enough time to enjoy the waterfalls (which is a huge plus!). I would absolutely recommend this day trip.

Absolutely brilliant day out visiting the beautiful historic village of Sibenik and the waterfalls. The tour was well organised and did not feel rushed. The highlight for me was the wine tasting in a remote place which was just magical with very generous portion sizes and an option to buy the wine at the end. Thank you to Pelican tours for a fun day out.

Great trip with a great guide. Gave you enough info but didn’t overload you... wine tasting was what it was no pushing you to buy stuff... couldn’t believe it sat on minibus ready to return and had to ask him to let us off again to buy some great Croatian wine. Really refreshing and so was the wine... Many Thanks... would highly recommend

It was good but not 5-star good. Krka National Park deserves a visit considering you get to actually go in there.

What a wonderful excursion! Our host Tonko made the day absolutely fabulous and deserves a raise and all the praise! If you can, do request him he was amazing! The waterfalls were beautiful with a lovely swim, and the park was absolutely gorgeous. Tonko gave us history lessons along the way, took us to the oldest town in Croatia, and ended the trip with a wine and cheese tasting in a beautiful countryside area. We’ll never forget this day, thank you so much for the laughs and memories Tonko!

We had the best visit to Krka with Pelican Tours. We had plenty of time to visit each stop on our own and the guided tour at each stop in the beginning was very helpful. Would recommend for a fun day trip!

Tonko was a fantastic guide all day! Great sense of humor from the beginning and did a great job recommending how to structure the time in Sibenik and Krka. Both sites were amazing! Make sure to bring water shoes to Krka as the bottom of the falls are stony. The group was the perfect size and we had a blast at the wine tasting. Couldn't recommend more!

There was enough time to walk arround the park, to relax and swim, and to eat something, but not enough time to get bored. Yourney was comfortable with air condiotioned mini bus. Our guide Tom was very informative and full of great tips. Most of all a nice person. I think it is a best coise for all day tour, alone or in groups. And the peice is reasonable.

Tonko was amazing! I feel like I got a greater sense of Croatian (and GoT) history within Sibenik, met great people on my tour and enjoyed socializing with them over drinks at the local winery. Tonko’s knowledge, quick quips, and understanding of our trip needs were perfectly timed and overall great!

We loved this trip from start to finish. Our Guide Tonko was great and very helpful. Was great to see sibenik. The Krka waterfalls and national park is a must see! Its beauty is amazing. We went in May and wasnt quite swimming season but we enjoyed our 3 hours by walking the trails and enjoying lunch and local croatian beers. The day was finished nicely by catching the boat and enjoying wine tasting and cheese/bread/olive oils. Very generous servings.

What can I say what a fantastic trip! Prompt pick up and full day at the waterfalls, the wine tasting was fabulous, lots to choose from with fresh bread, olive oil and garlic and cheeses and truffles to snack on, can’t recommend this enough, excellent value for money

This is a great day out. We went in early June and there were very few crowds (if you go in July or August, there can be up to 10000 people in the park which the tour guide cannot control so be aware). We arrived in Sibenik, which is a beautiful old town. Our guide gave us a short tour (15 mins at most) so we had plenty of time to explore ourselves, which was preferable to standing around listening for 45 mins. The views over the river on the drive down are stunning; unfortunately (but fairly) we weren't allowed to stop to take photos as it would've been very dangerous. Once we'd parked, we had another short tour down to a viewpoint to get photos and use the toilet, then down again to the bottom of the park (we took the short route which takes about 10 mins). We were then shown where to be in time to make the river cruise, and left to our own devices. There are a few different places to get food and drinks. We tried swimming but the water is very cold and the current was surprisingly strong so be careful. The walk around the other side of the park is quite long but pleasant. The park wasn't too busy but I can imagine in later months it would be packed. The river cruise was OK, it was unbelievably hot on the boat in the sun and the shade and there was very little breeze, so I recommend filling your bottles at the park before leaving. We then went to the wine and cheese tasting at a farm house hidden in the middle of nowhere which was beautiful, all the wines were fantastic and the cheese was tasty too. There was also homemade bread and olive oil. The small tour group really made a difference throughout the day and meant everything ran very smoothly. I would highly recommend this tour.

Duncan (owner) was amazing and knowledgeable. He was not rushing us, he anticipated our needs, and asked questions what we want to get out of the trip. His van is cleaned and smells good which is very important to me specially on a day trip. He showed us Sibenik before going to Krka. It was a great idea to grab breakfast or coffee and gave us enough time to see the town. At Krka falls we have more than enough time to enjoy the waterfalls and had lunch. Most importantly, he drive very well. Overall it was an amazing and memorable experiences. I would highly recommend "Pelican tour".

Beautiful waterfalls, however, sadly, the location was spoilt by the number of people. The area was full of tourists and locals and this spoilt the visit. Difficult to find somewhere to put down your towel etc and the number of people in the water reduced the amount of room to swim and enjoy the location. The café/restaurant was also packed and again it was difficult to find a seat. A disappointment. The boat trip up the lake was lovely and tranquil and the wine tasting delicious! It was a shame that a 10 hour trip only had an hour's worth of enjoyment!

Pelican Tours, who are hosting the tour, did an amazing job. After we were picked up from Split we drove to Sibenic in comfortable vans. We then had short guided tour in Sibenic, and our guide was amazing, very informative but not overbearing. He told us about the city in a super interesting way. We then went to the waterfalls, and had plenty of time to explore, and swim in the amazing water. I recommend having your swimsuit on because there are no special amenities to change in Krka. The wine tasting was a cherry on top. The groups were also small so it felt very personal. I loved it!
