Badia a Coltibuono is an abbey dating back to 1051 transformed into a wine resort at the doors of the Chianti area.
The rooms were the former monks' cells, founders and first inhabitants of Badia a Coltibuono. Each room has its own charming character, double or twin beds (on request) and en-suite bathroom with shower/tub. The three superior bedrooms are very spacious, they feature a minibar and offer a view on the Arno Valley. Four of the five classic bedrooms, comfortable and original, overlook the Renaissance garden, the fifth one has a view into the internal XVIII century courtyard.
The self-catered apartments located within Abbey’s walls are the perfect holiday solution for families and groups of friends.

The winery with excellent wines as Chianti, Chianti Classico and Vin Santo, the beautiful Italian style garden, the pool and the gourmet restaurant, located a few steps outside the Abbey walls, complete the magic of this unique wine resort.
