Our walking tour starts every day, it will last approximately 2,5 hours, this is a small group tour for at most 8 people; Pistoia is a very charming and well-preserved medieval town the itinerary we have designed will allow you to visit all the main sites in order to have a first touch of the city.

Pistoia has a peculiar urbanization that retraces the boundaries of the three sets of ancient city walls. The ancient centre is part of a road network within the oldest city walls. Walking these paved streets you will encounter unexpected and outstanding works of art.

Our English-speaking tour guide will meet you in the city centre in order to start a leisurely walk through Pistoia's historic town center, we first visit the Romanesque church S. Andrea, then we will pass the Ospedale del Ceppo, after a short walk we will reach the Piazza del Duomo with its cathedral, baptistery and intact medieval palaces. Piazza della Sala is just nearby with its characteristic fresh market, artisan market, various workshops and also several wine bars, cafés and restaurants, all perfect to relax at after a morning of history, art and architecture.
