After the cheese tasting, continue to the beautiful renaissance town of Pienza, rightly considered the gem of the renaissance in the Val d’Orcia. Here you have time at own leisure to visit this pretty hill town, spend time shopping in the towns many stores and enjoying the characteristic alleys and sweeping views or sit down for lunch in one of the towns many restaurants (not included).

In the afternoon visit the Hill of Montalcino where the famed Brunello wine is produced view the imressive fortress and spend time in this high hill town. In the afternoon visit an organic Brunello winery, tour the cellars and enjoy a tasting of this famous nectar (included), while learning directly off the winemaker about the new methods of farming and production of these world renown wines.
