Siena Truffle-Hunting Experience

Meet in the morning at Porta Romana's gate, one of the ancient gates of Siena, and travel by car into the hills to some of the secret spots of truffle hunting. For larger groups we always recommend to have a car on your own or to organize a private driver service.

Get ready to follow Alessandro and his dogs in sunny woods of oak and evergreen trees: you will have the chance to aknowlede everything about this particular truffle, its environment, the training of the dogs and the most satisfying moment, when dogs start smelling the truffle from underground! During the experience, the interpreter in your chosen language will be ready to answer all your questions, while following the expert truffle hunter.

At the end of the hunt, you will be invited to Alessandro's shop, SIena Tartufi, for a free taste of truffle-based products, while surrounded by a beautiful panorama, Piazza del Campo, Siena's historic and cultural heart.
