The locally named Church on the Hill, dedicated to St Nicholas, stands in all its grandeur meters above the citadel and can thus be seen pretty much whenever you turn a corner and look up. The building itself, which dates back to the 13th century, is very impressive, both outside and inside, and contains a number of very important murals which date back to the 14th & 16th centuries.
