Let’s start the evening with a visit to the boisterous Gurney Drive and its colorful hawker centre to sample authentic Penang cuisines (at own expenses) like asam laksa, pasembor, prawn mee, char koay teow and Hokkien mee amongst others. One said your trip to Penang the Food Paradise is not complete if you haven’t tried any.
After dinner, drive through the heart of Georgetown and enjoy the city's spectacular night views. This city takes on a different look and feel as night falls. One of the most charming cities in Asia, George Town is one of those places that invites you to explore, whether by day or by night.
Then proceed on a scenic drive across the Penang Bridge, one of the longest bridges in South East Asia to the mainland and then return back to island by ferry. Being Malaysia’s oldest ferry service, the Penang Ferry has successfully been transporting both passengers and vehicles to and from the island since 1920. The nostalgic ferry will take you back to what it was like to travel along the Malay Peninsula in the past. Return transfer to hotel upon arriving the island jetty.
** Note: The Penang ferries have upper and lower decks, and designed for vehicles to roll-on/roll-off. Some board pedestrian passengers on the upper deck and small vehicles (cars) on the lower deck, whereas some board vehicles on both decks.

Pickup by a local elderly who is a licensed guide, but was nagging too much on our hotel location that it was not easy to find. Even our hotel people found his attitude not too well on servicing. The correspondence through Viator informing them on our location before the actual day did not receive responses or efficient answers / feedback, which did give us some concerns. Our group of 15 people was supposed to be divided into 2 vans, so to fit on the wobbly roads up to the hotel resort up hill. The guide gave info while sitting at front, but people sitting at back could barely hear his informative talks. The tour was too simple. Guide changed the locations ad hoc that he thought may suit us better, like going for another hawker place of which our group found the quality food not very great and then being not clear about how we would take ferry. We never knew we could just be seated inside car and the whole car can get on the ferry and we could just walk around on the ferry. The information wasn't clear and the guide was bit annoying and irritated. The queue for the ferry ride was very long. It made everyone of us sleepy and tired. Once we got on, guide had no information to give us further, so we just went upstairs to avoid the bad air of cars downstairs ferry and took some photos, while Penang by night was not too vibrant. A slightly boring ride on ferry for about few minutes and back we were in the vans returning to our hotel. This activity was not exciting nor informative and we could have done the trip without this honestly.
