About this activity
Day 1: Arrival in Paro (Lunch/Dinner) Upon arrival in Paro, our guide will receive you at the Airport and transfer to Hotel.After lunch, visit Ta Dzong (built in1656 and renovated in 1968), an ancient watchtower, which now houses the National Museum. Below the museum is the Paro Rimpung Dzong (literally meaning “Heap of Jewels”, 
DAY 02: Excursion to Taktsang Monastery:(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
A very special day, with an excursion to view the spectacular Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) monastery. 
Day 03: Paro – Jele Dzong ( Altitude 3436m, 3- 4 hours,8 km) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) The day starts with a short climb to Jele Dzong. The trek trail is rather gradual up till the camp and if the weather is clear the Paro valley can be seen with snow-capped mountains behind. Above the camp is Jele la) and Jele Dzong that is mostly in ruins and there is a Lhakhang with the statue of Sakyamuni. Overnight at camp.
 Day 04: Jele Dzong – Jangchulakha (Altitude 3627m, ¾ hours, 10 kms)(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)Today the trail takes you through thick alpine forests and rhododendrons. Overnight at camp.
Day 05: Jangchulakha – Jimilangtso (Altitude 3706m, 4 hours, 11 kms) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)The trail follows the ridge and on a clear day the views of the mountains and valley are sensational Camp is close to lakes of Jimilangtso. Overnight at camp
Day 06: Jimilangtso- Simkotra (Altitude 3834m, 4 hours, 11 kms) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)The trail takes you through dwarf rhododendron trees and bypasses the lake of Janetsho. Today you may come across some yak herders camp and get an idea of nomadic life style. Overnight at camp.
Day 07: Simkotra – Phajoding (Altitude 3536m, ¾ hours, 10 kms) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Overnight at camp.
Day 08: Phajoding – Thimphu (3 hours, 5 kms) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) The trek to Thimphu is all the way downhill through a forested area of mostly blue pine. Overnight at hotel in Thimphu.
Day 09: Sightseeing in Thimphu (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Thimphu Sightseeing
Day 10: Thimphu – Paro- Fly Home ( Breakfast)After early breakfast drive to Paro Airport for flight to onward destination.
