Meet your local expert guide punctually at your hotel lobby. Transfer to the starting point and be assigned to your personal bicycle.
You'll start your guided bicycle tour at a leisurely speed towards Kallang River, the longest river in Singapore. En-route, you'll briefly ride through the Bras Basah & Bugis precincts and get a glimpse of the city's nucleus of arts and culture, Enjoy the scenic and breezy ride aas you ride into Kallang, home to the National Stadium, a state-of-the-art, fully integrated sports. entertainment and lifestyle hub. Learn about the stadium's architectural design with its retractable roof and an efficient cooling system.
Riding away from the National Stadium, your next stop is Tanjong Rhu, an affluent residential neighbourhood. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere as you observe local residents basking in the evening sun. A little off Tanjong Rhu, you'll next enter a world of serenity at Bay East Garden by the Waterfront. Ride into a picturesque world where beautiful pavilions, lush wide-open lawns and elegant palm trees await. With glorious views of the Marina Bay skyline, Bay East Garden offer a tranquil respite from the bustling city and a stunning view of the Singapore skyline. At the end of the cycling path, you'll reach Marina Barrage, Singapore’s 15th reservoir, and the first in the heart of the city. Learn about Singapore's water story and the country’s efforts to go green.
The next highlight stop is Gardens by the Bay, containing more than one million plants and built on the principles of environmental sustainability. In the heart of a bustling Garden City, you'll be riding past the gardens' conservatories - the Flower Dome, and the Cloud Forest. Enjoy this final stretch of nature ride before you return to the city. Your last part of the tour brings you to Civic District, where Singapore’s historical, architectural and cultural heritage started. Here, you can see and learn about some of the country’s most historic buildings such as the National Gallery, Civillian War Memorial, Victoria Theatre and experience urban planning at its best. You'll end the tour back at Bencoolen to return the bicycles and spend the rest of the lively evening.
The entire tour will take about 3 hours, depending on group size, riding speed and weather conditions, covering approximately 6km.
