Meet your guide at the Taxi stand in front of Geylang Serai Market and than set of on your walking tour where we will first understand about the Malays, who they were, how they came about and how did they settle in Geylang Serai. We will be exploring a local farmers market , where you get to experience how locals buy their supplies. A visit to the 2nd level to discover about the local clothing the Malays wear and also the food that they eat.

Continue on towards Joo Chiat Road,where you discover this unique blend of culture and people called the Peranakans who brought with them a unique fusion of Malay and Chinese.

We will stop along Koon Seng Road, where a professional photographer awaits to take a picture of the picturesque house that line up along the street.

Finally, we arrive at Katong, to understand how this bustling enclave that was once home to many warehouses became a food and cultural hot bed here in Singapore.

The tour ends at a local Peranakan eatery where we get to try local Peranakan dishes, to fill your hearts content.
