Rainforest Lumina was opened with the goal of providing a unique experience to all its visitors. Created for audiences of all ages, the Rainforest Lumina aims to enrapture its visitors with the beauty and charm of its attractions. It is being opened to mark the 45th anniversary of Singapore Zoo. It houses several attractions that are bound to sweep you off your feet.

Asia’s first Nocturnal wildlife park offers you quite the night to remember in this massive 40-hectare area of tropical forest. Here you can meet the enchanting creatures of the dark like the Himalayan Tahrs and the Brazilian Tapirs. It is also famous for it’s nightly shows which showcase the skills and talents of these animals and the trainers.

Rainforest Lumina Experience

Take a walk through the beautiful rainforest of Singapore, and experience the vibrant life inside it. The enchanted world is full of surprises, and your environment is guaranteed to bring out the dormant child within you. You will feel like singing and dancing along, and will experience a lightness and joy that is unmatched. There are 15 attractions from beginning to end. You will first go through an arch of vines and walk along a path that is covered by massive trees, as the treetops almost block starlight. You will then walk through the Garden of Virtues and the radiant Luminous Pathway. Sing Like An Animal and Call for the Wilds is up next, and you can hear the virtual sounds of orangutans an pangolins, and see flying foxes jump from one tree to another.

The Light Huts and Shimmering Huts are a stark contrast to Call of the Wilds. Play Like an Animal will have you jumping around and making noises like many of the creatures who call the zoo home. You can enjoy a small break, and refresh yourself with some Food and Beverage. Next up is a walk along the serene waterbody. You will then have to pass through the intimidating Fire section, after which you see the Wall of Fame. Last up is the Lantern Passage that marks the end of your 1 kilometer walk. It will prove to be an unforgettable experience, especially if you have kids along with you.

Night Safari Experience

Spread over a massive 40-hectare area of tropical forest, Night Safari is Asia’s first Nocturnal wildlife park. Here you can meet the enchanting creatures of the dark like the Himalayan Tahrs and the Brazilian Tapirs. Unlike other nocturnal parks, Night Safari does not reverse the animals day-night cycle; thereby allowing you a memorable experience at the wildlife park. Be sure to get abroad the Night Safari Tram Ride, a 40-minute immersive adventure, which takes you into the different zones and allows you to cover the large area at a relaxed pace.

If you’re not one for relaxing, check out the walking trails at the venue which features animals from big cats to wallabies. In addition to this, Night Safari is famous for their nightly shows which showcase the skills and talents of these animals and the trainers. The Thumbuakar performance, a breathtaking fire display, is also performed at the venue by trainer pyro-warriors.
