This tour was fabulous! After a Macedonian friend told me I had to visit Ohrid when visiting Macedonia I booked this one day private tour with a friend. Our driver/guide was Misho and he was very organised, knowledgable and hospitable. He was flexible to our requests and gave us plenty of time so the day was busy, but a relaxed pace so we could take in the many sights. Upon pick up at our hotel he'd arranged water and cereal bars for our journey ahead, the scenery along the way was impressive as we drove through the countryside. In Ohrid we visited the lake, saw traditional paper making, bought some pearl jewellery, went to St Sofia Church, Antic Theatre, St Bogorodica Periblepros Church, Smoli's Fortress, St Clement - Plasnik Church, Church of St John at Kaneo, the old Bazaar - Charisma and the 900 year old tree, the day was rounded off with a tasty lunch at a restaurant by the lake. My friend and I highly recommend the tour and driver/guide Misho
Absolutely brilliant tour. Kate was not only a great guide but also great company throughout the day. My partner and I really enjoyed our experience and felt that the personal touch of a good guide really added to our experience of not only Ohrid but Macedonia as a country.
