Sailing & Hiking Weekend

Itinerary

Day 1: Lazy Friday

Stop At: Olimpiyskiy Park, Sochi, Greater Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Southern District
Our journey begins and ends in Sochi, South Russia. We recommend arriving as early as possible to get the most of the long weekend, but in any case not later than 1.00 pm.
We will start our short getaway with a coffee and/or lunch followed by a sea walk and overview of the Olympic Park.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Roza Pik, Esto-Sadok, Adler District, Sochi, Greater Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Southern District
Afterwards, we will head into the mountains. The road itself is beautiful, and you will feel how special this area is by switching from the sea to the mountains in just an hour. We will have a short forest 'bathing' followed by an exploration of the mountain area from Roza Khutor village and above up to 2,320 m.

Pass By: Roza Khutor
As the night draws near we will head to the Olympic village where we will stay overnight at 1100 m altitutde. You will stay at one of the best spa hotels in the area, the member of the Healing Hotels of the World chain offering cozy design, mountain view pool and healthy lifestyle atmosphere.

Day 2: Breath the moutain air

Stop At: Bzerpinskiy Karniz, Esto-Sadok, Adler District, Sochi, Greater Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Southern District
We will spend the whole day in the mountains hiking to Bzerpinskyi Karniz, one of the most beautiful spots around Sochi. This is an easy to medium level day hike through valleys, forests and mountain ridges. Usually, it takes 7-8 hours with an easy pace and an hour break on the top to enjoy the view and have some sandwich and a herb tea.

Stop At: Krasnaya Polyana Mountain Cluster, Sochi, Greater Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Southern District
In the evening we will have some free time to dinner and wander around Roza Khutor with its lively restaurants and shops. Another option at additional cost is to experience real Russian banya overlooking the mountains with whisks and herb tea which is absolutely recommended after the day of hiking. We are in love with this place and would like to share this experience.

Day 3: Set sail!

Stop At: Skaypark
The morning will start early with yoga - on the air if the weather is glorious. After breakfast we will stop at Skypark - one of the longest suspension bridges in the world! The brave ones can do bungee jumping, otherwise, your breath will be taken away just by walking 0.5 km hanging in the air.

Stop At: Port Grand Marina Sochi, Sochi, Greater Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Southern District
After the lunch the team of professional sailers will be waiting for you for an intense dive into the sailing world - 1 hour of theory and 3 hours of practice in the sea. This program is designed specifically for beginners, and it's perfect for you if you have never tried sailing before and want to try if you'd like or not. In the sea you may have a chance to spot dolphins who are usually around in this area.
If you are not up to sailing or you have a sea disease, we may try Via Ferrata hike or chill at the beach while the group is out sailing.
Our sailing program will end at 7.00 pm. Please plan your departures to be not earlier than 9.00 pm. If you depart very late, we may hang out in one of the bars in Sochi.
