On our way to Belogradchik, we will stop by the charming little town of Chiprovtsi, which is designated as one of the few left regions where the Bulgarian local tradition of carpet making is still preserved. You will meet the masters of the craft – the women behind the loom, whose unique skills combine centuries-old techniques and innate artistry. Learn about the symbolism and meaning behind every thread and indulge into the world of local craftsmanship.

After this, we will head to a local winery where you will get introduced to the process of winemaking and the traditions embedded in it. Following such an enchanting experience, it’s time for some local yummies. A short drive will take us to the exuberant gardens of our hosts who will cook an incredible variety of traditional culinary specialties. You will wish to stay there for days!

Another option could be the hidden gem of the region - the newly discovered Venetsa Cave. The cave is unique because of its colorful rock formations created by the interesting chemical processes of crystallization that are going on within. Going deep into the heart of the rock, you will be witnessing the magnificent change of colors that will happen in front of you.
