Birdwatching tour to Dragoman Marsh from Sofia
Travel westwards from Sofia to the biggest Karst marsh in Bulgaria, the Dragoman Marsh, on a full-day birdwatching tour. Discover the diverse breeding bird fauna found in the presence of lower and higher Karst hills surrounding the marsh.
In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred (1.5 hrs one way) westwards to the biggest Karst marsh in Bulgaria. The checklist here is especially varied from the spring to autumn since this wetland lies along the Via Aristotelis flyway and a big number of migranting birds use it as a stop-over.
