Bulgarian lavender fields and lavender oil production tour

Pass By: Sofia History Museum, Sofia, Sofia Region

The tour starts at 08:00 am when our tripvam representative will pick you up from your hotel.
We leave for Chirpan city which is just 2 hours drive from Sofia.
Nearby Chirpan we will visit a small village in which we’ll meet the owner of lavender oil and lavender water distillery. We will take a tour through the distillery and learn about the history and process of lavender oil production. There will be an option for lavender products degustation!
After our walk around the distillery, we’ll visit the beautiful and colorful lavender fields where we’ll be able to take some amazing and unique photos!
In the afternoon we’ll go back to Sofia with a short stop in Plovdiv on our way where we’ll take a walk through the famous old town with its many beautiful buildings and houses. This city is the second largest in Bulgaria and also is the European capital of culture for 2019.
