The next day we will start with Sofia. Walking tour through the downtown area: Roman Serdica Fortifications (3-5th centuries); St. George's Rotunda (4th century); St. Sophia Basilica (6th century); The magnificent splendidly decorated Alexander Nevski Memorial Church.Head towards Krushuna Waterfalls where we can have an amazing walk through the beautiful forest and along the stream that has formed beautiful cascade of blue waterfalls followed by lunch on your own. On the way we will stop at the Devetashka cave - an amazing karst formation, which will leave you breathless. Visit of  the so-called City of Tsars - Veliko Turnovo and Kazanluk– the town situated amidst the Valley of Roses also known as the ‘Valley of the Thracian Kings’. Guided tour of the world-famous Thracian tomb of Kazanluk (4th century BC), a UNESCO's World Heritage Site. Heading towards one of the oldest cities in the world and the European Capital of Culture for 2019 - Plovdiv. Drive to Rhodope Mountains and stop at the Vucha Dam with its magnificent views. Yagodinska Cave and Off road trip to the Eagle's Eye.Visit the Devil’s Throat Cave ranked by National Geographic as one of the most mysterious places on Earth.

And after recharging our batteries with the fresh air and the energizing views of the mountains we will return back to Sofia.
