About this activity
Come with us to discover the stunning Amalfi Coast protected by Unesco and the wonderful Sorrentine Peninsula.
First site of the boat tour is a charming view ride around Li Galli islets where is set the myth of Ulysses and the Sirens.
Then, we will make a stop of 2 hours and 30 minutes at the Ancient Marine Republic of "Amalfi", with its main local attractions and monuments such as: the ancient Cathedral of Saint Andrew with the Cloister of Paradise, the crypt, the main Church (entrance fee not included), Amalfi's main square and its high street.
Once we leave Amalfi, during the sailing you will be given the opportunity to visit optionally (for an extra 5€ p.p.) the beautiful Emerald Cave/Grotto (stop at the grotto will only be be possible according to weather/sea condition).
We will continue our sailing from Amalfi towards the picturesque village of Positano passing by the heart of the Amalfi Coast "Praiano village" with its beautiful church overlooking the sea, the ancient Fiord of "Furore", middle ages watch towers...
Once in Positano, the world famous vertical village of the Amalfi Coast, we will stop 2 hours, where you can enjoy spending some freetime on the beautiful beach of Positano, have a nice swim and sunbed, or stroll up and down among the village narrow streets full of traditional unique artesany stores for some Moda Positano shopping time.
On the return route you will also admire the Fjord of Crapolla and the encahnting Ilset of "Isca" that belongs to Eduardo de Filippo a famous neapolitan actor.
You'll return back to the port of Nerano at around 17.30, after you enjoyed a wonderful day of relax and culture.
Minibus transfer will be waiting at the harbour of Nerano - Marina Del Cantone to take you back to the pick up location in Sorrento city centre, arrival at about 6 pm - 6:15 pm.

What a wonderful adventure. We were collected from our hotel on time, then taken to the harbour to catch the boat. Everyone on board was friendly and welcoming with drinks available and toilet facilities. The 1 1/2 hour cruise to Amalfi was spectacular, being given information and interesting facts by our tour guide all the way. We sailed around little islands, near caves and spectacular rock formations. The time spent in Amalfi was great, we had free time to relax on the beach and explore the town. Then we cruised back 45 minutes to Positano, again a lovely travel with more information and the guide pointing out hotels, villas and buildings along the way. Positano was a smaller, quieter town to Amalfi with lots of hidden treasures! A fantastic day, would highly recommend!

Very relaxing tour. I'm not sure if it was the microphone, loud engine noise or just her accent but we hard a hard time hearing/understanding what our tour guise was saying. That being said, still a nice boat tour with 2 island stops.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day on the boat seeing the most beautiful area of Italy. They gave you plenty of time to explore Amalfi and Positano. Only reason I didn't give them a 5 rating is because the boat was too crowded.
We had an awesome time seeing the Amalfi Coast by sea. We were picked up by a bus a taken from Sorrento to Nerano. The boat itself was nice. There were places to sit under cover as well as in the open so you can choose. You can take photos since there were no windows. After Positano and Amalfi, we got the chance to go into the green emerald cave grotto for only another 5 euros. This tour was the highlight of our vacation. Finally, you are given plenty of time to explore Positano and Amalfi. Having gone to the Amalfi Coast before by van and by bus, there is no doubt that going by boat was the best way to go.
Would of been better getting the ferry from sorrento it was not a tour we were picked up at 7.45 taken to the boat that was old and over crowded and left at Amalfi and Position without a guide. Fortunately we had been before so we knew what we wanted to do.
With decent amount of time in both amalfi and Positano it was a good intro to the coast. It was kind of hard to hear your guide from where we sat towards the back but overall def worth it.
This tour was great. I believe it is the best way to see the Amalfi Coast. The boat captain did a great job of going to all the local spots of interest and making sure all sides of the boat could see. Maria was our guide and was great. Enough time at each town to see and enjoy. Highly recommend. The only negative is the little bit of a drive from Sorrento to get to the port, but the tour was worth it. We loved it.
