Pompei & Vesuvius - Private Driving Tour

Enjoy the private driving tour of Pompeii and Vesuvius. A must-see experience in a comfortable car with professional english speaking driver and pick up in the Hotel or other place in Sorrento.

Leaving Sorrento, the driver will lead you to the archeologic site of Pompeii ruins, where you will have 2 hours for exploring on your own or with a licensed private guide (not included and to be booked in advance).

After the walking tour in Pompeii and before the visit on the Vesuvius, you can choose to have lunch (not included) in a local restaurant or to visit an enchanting property, found on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius.A short walk through the vineyards will be followed by a delicious lunch made with typical products of the region (not included and to be booked in advance).

Then the car service will continue towards the Mount of Vesuvius reaching the parking area located to an altitude of 1,000 metres above sea level in the municipality of Herculaneum. 

From that point you will take the climb walking for about 20 minutes.On the crater, you’ll meet an alpine guide, who will provide you some useful information about the history of the Vulcaneum and you will enjoy the breathtaking view hugging the Gulf of Naples.

Return to Sorrento in the afternoon.
