Private Positano, Pompeii and Wine Tour

This tour will give you an idea of the history, nature and beauty of Positano & Pompeii and also the opportunity to taste the good wine produced on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius.

Your English speaking driver will pick you up at your Hotel and first he will drive you to Positano the pearl of the Amalfi Coast. From the centrally located Piazza dei Mulini, which is the last drivable section downtown, you will enjoy a very pleasant walk along the picturesque town ,that is nestled in the mountains overlooking the turquoise-blue sea, famous for its colorful fashion, handmade sandals, the ceramic stores and boutiques selling the Positano fashion Clothing.

Then we will drive you to Pompeii.

In the year A.D. 79, after Mount Vesuvius eruption, Pompeii was buried under six meters of ash and rock.

You'll get a glimpse of the real ancient life.

After your tour in Pompeii, you'll visit the wineries and take a walk in a volcanic vineyard.

In a beautiful scenery, you'll enjoy a typical lunch with products grown in this area and you'll taste the best wines, like: the Red Lacryma Christi made from Piedirosso and Sciascinoso grapes; the White Lacryma Christi mainly made from Verdeca and Coda di Volpe grapes, with smaller proportions of Falanghina, Caprettone and Greco di Tufo.

After being inebriated by the Roman and the wine history we'll drive back to your hotel.
