Enjoy the Adriatic coast with a boat - Alson Flash 750

1 day
About this activity
Split is the

second largest city in Croatia and the capital of Dalmatia. It is

often a stopover for tourists who enjoy to

charter a sailboat or a motorboat, and

sail around the nearby idyllic islands. Split is the

perfect starting point to sail towards the stunning islands just of the Dalmatian coast.

The city was built up around the palace that belonged to the Emperor Diocletian during the third century. The Diocletian Palace is now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is an iconic site in the city. If you are visiting Split in the end of August don’t miss the music festival "Dioklecijanovi dani” in Peristyle. Spend time going to the Croatian National Theatre, Riva, or visiting the Ivan Mestrović Gallery, or enjoy a jazz-bar in the old house of Marko Marulić (father of Croatian literature). Strolling down the streets of Split, you will also come across a wide range of Croatian restaurants offering local gastronomy and delicious specialties such as pršut (local dyed ham), the legendary octopus salad, and crni rižot (traditional risotto with cuttlefish ink).

You will find many great spots to stop off at along the coast of Split, with several beautiful beaches, including the central beach of Bačvice. From Split you can charter a motorboat, a catamaran, or a sailboat to the islands of Brač and Hvar. There are many beautiful small coves or beaches such as Zlatni Rat to stop off and enjoy. If you want to cruise more to the south islands, Korčula is a must-see. Also the home of Marko Polo, this is a great island for active holidays lovers; Scuba diving, sailing, surfing, jet skiing, swimming.

Another interesting yachting destination is Vodice, which is becoming very popular among young tourists. Although it is just a small village, the rich offer of restaurants with authentic food and a spectacular local festival,Vodička fešta makes Vodice one of the top destinations of the area. For a more cultural experience, you should rent a boat and drop anchor at Šibenik or Trogir.

You will be amazed and You will probably find secluded beaches all along the coast that can be reached only by sea!
