Rafting and Foodie Full Day Experience from Split

Start your tour with a stop in the seaside town of Omiš, after which you head into the mountains, where you will prepare for your rafting experience. The rafting experience takes about 3 –4 hours, after which you will take you to a mountain village. There will be an opportunity to enjoy an inexpensive lunch at a local family restaurant. This warm and welcoming family will also give you the opportunity to experience life in rural Croatia. They produce most of their own food, cure their own meats and make their own wines and spirits, a practice which is typical for many rural Croatian families. You will be able to sample all these, as well as find out a little more about their lifestyle, which provides a fascinating insight to those of us who are more accustomed to supermarket shopping for our food.
This is how your day will look: 
Morning start 09:30 from our office
Travel to Cetina river in an air-conditioned bus with Wi-Fi
Rafting experience for approximately 3-4 hours
Depart for lunch at family owned konoba
Visit Omiš to see Mirabela fortress
Return to Split at around 4:00pm
Your experience will be led by expert guides with excellent English using comfortable vehicles with wifi and air-conditioning.
You can expect three to four hours of rafting on the beautiful Cetina river with an instructor who is passionate about his sport, and the opportunity to spend time with a local family and learn how they prepare all their own meats, wine, spirits and olive oil.
