Trogir as an unavoidable tourist destination which is considered as the best preserved Romanesque – Gothic town in Central Europe, located on the coast Bay on the island Čiovo and the land, connected with the stone bridge. The city was founded by the Greek colonists from the island Vis in the 3rd century BC and called Tragurion. The name came from the Greek Word Tragos(goat) and Oros(mountain). Trogir has more than 13 000 inhabitants. Small and narrow streets make town as a small unit full of cultural and historical monuments and art collections, with many masterpieces will most delight visitors. 1997. Was included on the UNESCO list of World Heritage because of cultural and historical monuments and preserved look.

The north gate of the city make entrance to the old town, on top of the gate is situated a statue of the patron Saint Blessed Ivan Trogirski. In cathedral we can find a significant baptistery, rich treasury and most valuable landmark – Chapel of the Blessed Ivan Trogirski, which is modeled as Temple of Jupiter in the Diocletian´s Palace.

On the square we can see the city hall known as „Knežev dvor“ and city Lodge – public outdoor object, shelter and meeting place at the same time Courthause. In the monasteri of saint Nicholas keeps the relief Kairos, the God of happy moment and symbol of city. For the best view of the city and sunset will give you „Kamerlengo Tower“ which was used to defend the city and ether „ Tower st. Mark“. For many beaches which is situated on the island Čiovo you mast go over a large stone bridge. Trogir is definitely as „must visit“ and enjoy.
