VIS DISCOVERY TOUR excursion from Split, every Thursday

Our excursion starts at 09.00 from Gat Sv. Petra, Split harbour. Enjoy an amazing view of Croatian islands Brač, Šolta, Hvar and Vis while cruising to Komiža.
After the short stopover for passenger boarding in Milna on island Brač at 9.35, we will arrive to Komiža around 11.10.

VIS DISCOVERY TOUR will give You a view of the islands history.
Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Venetians, Slavs, Austrians, French and British were in control of this island at some point in the history. All of these cultures and civilizations left their own mark in the island´s culture and architecure.
The fort George III. is the British fort with fantastic view of the archipelago. From that fort, You can see venues of ancient naval battles which occured in front of the town Vis.
You will visit the town of Vis where you will find remains of the Roman bath and the Greek cemetary, 2nd world war military airport which was a very important strategic point for British and US aircraft operations over Balkans peninsula.
As a last venue, you will explore the gorgeous town of Komiza.

After the tour, you'll have free time in Komiza to lunch, swim and stroll around.
Catamaran departures at 17.30 from Komiža to Split. On the return ride, after the short stopover due to disembarkation of passengers in Milna at 19.05, we will arrive to Split Harbour around 19.40.
