About this activity
Join us and learn about the ruins of the Diocletian's Palace with an experienced guide.Explore The Cathedral of Saint Domnius, known as St. Duje, one of the best-preserved ancient Roman buildings standing today. Saint Domnius (also known as Saint Dujam or Saint Duje, Saint Domnio, Saint Doimus, or Saint Domninus) was a 3rd-century Bishop of Salona and patron of the city of Split. Salona was a large Roman city serving as the capital of the Province of Dalmatia. Today it is located near the city of Split in modern Croatia. Saint Domnius was martyred with seven other Christians in the persecutions of the Emperor Diocletian.

You will also visit other incredible sights including the statue of medieval Croatian bishop Gregory of Nin, the Golden Gate, and the tower-clock, which has kept time in Split since the 15th century. We will also visit the Fish Market -– well preserved and very picturesque part of the town. Walk on the beautiful promenade, very famous in the world.
