Eco-Wine Tour

Find out why the age old expression, “Wine is made in the vineyards” is so true on a behind the scenes tour of one of South Africa’s premiere organic wineries.

The day will start when your guide picks you up from your accommodation, where he will take you in the vineyards, learning about how the soils play a key role in the flavors of the wines you will taste. Here you will see various interesting techniques that ensure the vineyards soils remain healthy and a vibrant for many vintages to come. From there we will enter the cellar and discover where the magic that turns the grape juice into the wine happens, before sampling the wines in the beautiful tasting room.

We will then sit down for lunch at the wineries superb restaurant and enjoy their farm to table food, before heading to a second winery to end the day with another tasting.

This last tasting will be tailored to you palates based on what you usually enjoy, or what you enjoyed earlier in the day.
