About this activity
Experience Swedish nature at its best on an overnight wilderness hike from Stockholm. Camp in the wild and savor the sounds, scents and sights of the Swedish forest. To camp surrounded by nature is a breathtaking experience and during this tour you will sleep in a comfortable, fluffy sleeping bag right under the stars.
Day 1:
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel/hostel or airport. He will accompany you all the time until you are dropped off the day after. Together you drive out to the forest, about an hour away depending on traffic and location of your hotel.
Once you get to the forest you will be given a sleeping bag, a sleeping mat and you will share the weight of food and water with your guide. You will enjoy amazing areas and beautiful nature as you walk through the forest, setting the pace at your own preference. A delicious light lunch (weekend option) will be served at a scenic spot where you will have the time to rest. With refilled energy you will continue through the forests until finally arriving at our camp site. Together we start the fire using “Swedish fire steel” with tinder that we collect as we go. Together with your guide you will prepare a traditional Swedish outdoor barbeque. Freshly baked bread, meaty sausages and grilled vegetables. Fall asleep watching the stars and listening to the serenade of the forest.
Day 2:
Wake up from a wonderful sleep and warm up by the fire. Hot coffee, freshly made pine needle tea and breakfast will be served. After breakfast, you will pack up your camp and hike back to the car and your guide will drive you back to your hotel/to the airport. Your guide will also take photos during the tour which you will be able to download afterwards.

Great trip! The guide was really friendly and had a good knowledge of the area and where to hike/camp. Everything that was needed was included so it made it easy for us who didn't have all our own gear.
