Stop At: Tyresta Nationalpark, Tyreso

This tour will give you a genuine sense of Swedish wilderness.
We will hike through untouched dense forest passing lakes and wildlife, a wide variety of unique plants and trees up to 400 years old!
We’ll have a little picnic next to the wonderful lake to enjoy the enchanted views while tasting some typical Swedish delights (not a lunch).
We’ll stop to explore the surroundings with the thick, tall spruce trees, decaying trunks, and moss-covered rocks. You may want to pick some berries or if you’re up for it, cool down with a swim in one of the lakes. It’s a hike of true magic and wonder!
This around two-hour hike will give you an original feeling of the Swedish great outdoors!It’s not a heavy hike at all but very pleasant and refreshing for body and mind.You decide the pace and there is plenty of time to pause and let the magic around you sink in.
We will sit down at the beautiful lake and have a small picnic and you’ll get the opportunity to taste some of the most typical Swedish foods.
After the hike, we’ll visit the café and farm shop in Tyresta By, which is a little traditional Swedish farm with the typical buildings from the 18th and 19th century. Here we can enjoy a simple lunch and/or coffee + the characteristic local cinnamon bun = “Swedish fika”
At the end of the trip you will receive a digital photo album of your experience to remind you forever what a wonderful time you had!
To get to the national park we’ll take public transport from Stockholm going south for a little over one hour.
