- Cruise Passenger Info: Cruise passengers arriving into Frihamnen/Stadsgarden can join the bus tour at the cruise terminal. Buses will be either be waiting on the pier, or passengers will be required to walk over to the security gates (approx 5 mins). Cruise passengers arriving into Nynashamn will be required to take a transfer bus, taking between 45-60 minutes. City Sightseeing/Open Top Tours Stockholm will provide dedicated transfer buses for these passengers who have pre-purchased a CS ticket on the ship.

Unfortunately, we only had time for a couple of the stops and then had to return to the ship. Stockholm needs a lot of time due to requiring boats to navigate the city.
So, this was a hop on hop off bus. The bus picked us up at the cruise terminal and then drove us to the city which took about an hour. On the tour map, it showed the cruise terminal as one of the stops on the route, however, when the bus driver skipped going back to the terminal I asked him why and he said they don't go there in the off season. I told him I was pick up there. He said, well you can take the public transit bus back! I was shocked and so I called the company. A man on the phone told me something different. He said all the bus drivers told us to be at a particular place at 3:30 for a ride back to the cruise terminal. I was never told this! His response was well now you know! We had to pay for a taxi to get us to the pick up place in time as the next hop o bus would not get us there in time. We were fearful of not getting back to the ship in time, which caused a lot of stress. Please be careful using this service as they did not seem to know what they were doing, and furthermore did not care about our experience.

This hop on, hop off tour is a great way to see Stockholm. We especially loved walking through Old Town and hearing the bells ringing. Great information is shared along the way.
Stockholm is a beautiful city and i would like to return as one day was not enough to see the city. The hop-on-hop of was an excellent way to see the city. The bus comes to the vessel, the stop off locations are close to all the attractions.
