Stop At: Jarlabanke Runestones, Taby Kyrkby, Taby Sweden
First I will give my guests an short indroduction of the Swedish history, followed by explanation of Runestones i general, details about "Jarla Banke", his family and the areas around their setlement. Mythology is an other area, which always I talk about.

Stop At: Arkils tingstad, Tingvallavägen 27, 186 50 Vallentuna, Sweden
Here we have an foundation of a "Ting" (an Viking Assembly), I will explain about how the viking society funcion + a few other topics. It is beautiful located at the edge of the Vallentuna lake.

Vallentuna church is an old parish church from the very late 12 century. I will explain when and why these churches were built up and how Sweden became a catholic nation and later a lutheran country. The church has as well a few hidden "treasures" from the viking era.

Stop At: Sigtuna, Sigtuna, Sigtuna Municipality
Sigtuna "the first capital of Sweden" is it known for. Today Sigtuna is small quaint place. Here you will have your own time and do what you want (lunch, shopping, walking around...). Together we will have a look on the ruins of Saint Olof, the viking warrior who became the protected saint of all of Scandinavia.

Stop At: Gamla Uppsala, Uppsala Sweden
Gamla Uppsala was the spiritual centre for the viking and the birthplace of the god of Frej (?). Here vikings from all off Scandinavia gathered together to celebrate "Yule" (Midvinterblot). Viking kings were here buried in mounds and they are still dominating the beautiful landscape. A cathedral was built above the pagan temple and it has a few hidden "treasures".
