About this activity
Our cruises depart from Eco Noosa River Adventures every day. Guests can choose their time and duration subject to availability and we'll do our best to accomodate any special requirements.
This is a self drive activity and although the skipper must be older than 21 years of age, no boat license is required.
We ask if you can please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for a brief induction to the boat and the river. We'll discuss what you are hoping to do on the cruise and put together the best possible itinerary based on your needs, the weather conditions and other boat density.
Heading up river with views of Mount Tinbeerwah, guests cruise passed Goat Island Conservation Park, Sheep Island and the Sir Richard Branson's Makepeace Island. Spot giant Osprey in the tree tops or search for kingfishers in the mangroves, this is a beautiful cruise heading up towards the Noosa Biosphere Reserve.
Alternatively take a cruise toward the river mouth and Noosa's famous canals. Marvel at the multi million dollar mansions on one bank and the spectacular rainforest on the other. Pull up at the Lion's Park for a swim or continue through the canals and out into Noosa Sound. Here you'll find stunning sandbanks and small islands, an abundance of bird life and warm, clear waters that are perfect for a swim.
