Pass By: Noosa River Mouth
Enjoy views towards the Noosa River mouth which is home to many sand islands, as well as thousands of migrating birds during the period October to March each year.
Pass By: Great Sandy National Park
After crossing beautiful Lake Cooroibah in the Noosa hinterland we spend a few minutes drifting silently in the river beside the Great Sandy National Park. This is a wonderful location to enjoy the peace and solitude of our bushland, and we often see various species of birds, including whistling kites, herons, egrets, pelicans and swallows. After our stop here we proceed for another 20 minutes, further up the river past Johns Landing and all the way to the entrance of Lake Cootharaba. This is a really spectacular lake and we stop here for a few minutes to enjoy the expansive views before beginning our trip back towards Noosa Heads.

- Access to and from the boat at Rickys Jetty is possible by wheelchair or stroller but there is no space for storing any equipment on board the vessel. Arrangements for temporary storage of wheelchairs or strollers may be made with Rickys Restaurant if you let us know when booking your cruise. There is no way to bring a wheelchair or stroller onto the boat and entry involves stepping down one step from the jetty into the seating area.
