Walk through the small alleys in the packed Kajoetangan kampong and see the locals in their daily activitiesA leisure walk for about 1 KM will take you to the CityHall, built in 1927 facing 1500-meter square lawn with green grass and various tropical flowersAlong the way we will pass notable buildings and historic sites: Jami Great Mosque (est 1903), GPIB Immanuel Church (est 1912), Mandiri Bank (est 1938) , Pelangi hotel (est. 1915, one of the longest-standing hotel in the city), Post Office (est 1746)Continue for a 1 KM walk passing the busy trading street to Eng Ang Kiong Chinese ChineseTemple (est 1825), Kebalen traditional market, on to Jodipan , located along Brantas river bank. this riverside slum was transformed into a vibrant rainbow village with its bright-coloured houses Walk to Inggil for Indonesian lunch at an ecclectic restaurant that houses some antique collection.
