A must see in Samui. "The statue is magnificent, sure. But there are also intricate details all over the smaller temples surrounding the Buddha. The view from up top is quite magnificent. And I love that they provide scarves for ladies and trans women/lady boys who might not be dressed for the occasion. You can also do some shopping around, which is always a plus when in Thailand"

Our favourite temple in Samui ! Tranquil, colorful temple complex featuring a lake with an 18-armed statue of the goddess Guanyin. "Great temples and easy enough to walk between them all. As also make sure you are covered from shoulders to knees if female and remove shoes before going inside. Not many stalls around this attraction, you can buy fish food to feed the fish. Worth a look for all the history and culture side"

"Absolute amazing beach. Beautiful, quiet. Super kids friendly. Here you can send your kids out on a paddle board or kayak and relax on the beach while watching them. So far my favorite beach in Koh Samui."

Visit the local's market in Chaweng. It's where the local Thai people buy their fresh salad, vegetables, fruit & meat. Nothing is over-priced, just pick up what you need place it in a plastic tray and just pay what they ask. The taste of real Thailand !
