The reservoir (lake) covers an area of 185 squares kilometers and boasts an electricity generating capacity of approximately 554 million kilowatt / hour. The lake offers an incomparably breathtaking view of Limestone Mountains and over 200 small islands.

Visit to Rope Bridge Heart Mountain at Surat Thani for the construction of a cross over the light canal at Wat Khao Ru. The bridge uses a large wire rope, anchored to the concrete pole. The floor is covered with a wooden board on a steel frame with a length of 120 meters along the suspension bridge. There are beautiful views of the natural canal light and the two sides of the canal. Then visit to Wat Suan Mokkhaphalaram (Suan Mokkhaphalaram Temple) known as Suan Mokkh (Garden of Liberation) formerly called Wat Than Nam Lai, the 150-acre modern forest monastery was founded in 1959 by the late Ajahn Buddhadasa Bhikkhu, one of Thailand's most famous monks. Suan Mokkh is set in a serene ambience conducive for meditation or contemplation of the philosophy of life. The temple itself is nothing but a combination of natural sandy grounds and rocks, dotted with trees. There are no elaborate stupas and chapels like other temples, only a place that keeps one in truly in tune with nature.
